rather than actual prescribed medication buying, since yeast infection has
become common knowledge among women (albeit often with some misinformation).

you will not be allergic or experiencing side effects from the natural
remedies.
Here are some alternatives for medication for
yeast infection, ranging from the usual topical cream to natural remedies.
Regular Medication for Yeast Infection
Since yeast infection is a relatively common
occurrence among females, there are many products you can use to cure yeast
infection, but in condition that you have been actually diagnosed by the doctor
for yeast infection and not some other conditions with similar symptoms. Here
are several options for common medication for yeast infection:
· Topical cream, which is spread on the
infected area of the vagina. The cream products are available in both
prescribed and over-the-counter options, and the most famous brands are, such
as, Femstat, Mycostatin and Monistat. It is better to ask for prescription from
your doctor, to make sure that this is the right medication for yeast
infection, which has also been diagnosed correctly.
· Oral medications, which are good for more
severe yeast infection case or for those who do not like spreading cream on
their vaginal areas; all of these oral medications must be prescribed, because
depends on the ingredients, the medications may be consumed for 1-7 days, or
even 2 weeks (it also depends on the severity of the yeast infection). Common
oral medication for yeast infection is Diflucan, which is usually favored
because it is only a single dose. There is also Nizoral, which is less potent
and works in several days.
If these common medications from doctor or
drugstore are deemed not enough for you, you can try home or natural remedies
for yeast infection.
Natural Medication for Yeast Infection
Many people have known that yeast or Candida
bacteria are actually harmless and must be present in limited amount in the
vagina. Therefore, modern medication for yeast infection is deemed responsible for
killing too many yeast bacteria. Many people then switch to home or natural
remedies to handle yeast infection and bring relief to the discomfort caused by
this infection. Here are some natural alternatives for medication for yeast
infection using non-drugstore solutions:
· Probiotic supplement, which is often referred
as ‘good bacteria,’ is a commonly known natural medication for yeast infection because
the good bacteria help suppressing the activities of Candida. While there has
not been definite conclusion about the actual work of probiotic against Candida,
this is a good and non-harmful oral alternative.
· Tea tree oil has been proven to have positive
impact in supporting the medication for yeast infection, but it is not
recommended as the main medication. Tea tree oil is used as a topical
medication, but you should not use the full strength oil, and the oil must be
diluted with clean water before being applied to the affected vaginal area.
· Fiber solution, such as flax seed or pectin
powder is also recommended as good and harmless oral medication for yeast
infection, in which you simply stir it with water to be drunk 2-3 times per
day. This is to block the growth of yeast bacteria from within, but you must
not drink the solution when your stomach is full for maximum effect.
· Garlic capsules, which are often sold as
natural health supplements, have been known to show positive effects when
combined with other treatment for yeast infection. It will be better if you
consume garlic capsule with the coating that immediately opened when it enters
your intestine (enteric coat).
Try these options for medication for yeast infection, but only after you are positive
that you have been diagnosed with yeast infection, to make sure that the
medication is right on target.
